Slacker

Okay, so it's been a while. A LONG while. Here we go!

We've had a pretty busy month. We had a really fun babydoll playdate, where all the kids brought their dolls and played. Allison really enjoys pushing her babies and animals in the stroller.
Brandon, Allison and I got flu shots. Allison was lucky and got hers as the nasal spray. Brandon's was relatively painless but mine.... Let's just say that following a 90 minute wait, the 15 minutes the lady took just to fill out my paperwork were more painful than the shot!

We're going to storytime at the library today. We tried going earlier but it didn't work out.

Brandon has started softball (postponed by Ike) and their team is 2-2. Games are on Thursdays. Unfortunately, the rest of the games are too late so the girls and I won't be able to go.
Allison is a riot. She loves to mimic (although Brandon warned me that she might drop some f-bombs after last night....Jordan was frustrating him while I was at Jazzercise). She now tells you that she's "TWO!" when you ask her how old she is. She get super excited about it! She seems to be back to her old self and LOVES helping me with Jordan. She's also getting into her own little routine at bedtime. She HAS to watch the "baby" movie (The Potty Movie Starring Hannah) and then one of her Elmo movies (we only let her watch 1 of the 15 minute clips). Needless to say, since I have a guaranteed 30-45 minutes of tv time at night, she doesn't watch any during the day.

Jordan has been doing so good with cereal that we decided to move on to veggies. She wasn't too sure about squash the first day. The second day she did much better. We'll try again today and see what happens. She cracks us up. She is SO happy. She's also getting on a nice schedule. Pretty much as soon as we put Allison to bed, we give Jordan a bottle, hold her for a little bit and then put her in bed too. It's nice to have both kids in bed by 9!! And Jordan now has 2 teeth!! (Both her bottom ones....Sorry Erin!)

Now for a shout-out: Yay for Mary!!! She took her first steps!! (Mary is my friend Erin's baby who is just over 1 year old. We are going to Disneyworld with them for my birthday!)

Okay, here's what you really wanted....pictures. (And some video, which is something I couldn't even DREAM of doing when we had Comcast!) The videos are mostly for the grandparents but they are still pretty cute.
At the park before Daddy's softball games
It's a little hard to see but she has super cute pigtails!
Allison gave Jordan her baby even though she was sleeping!
"Feed me, Mommy!"

Hey, this solid food thing is great!
This one is Allison "reading" to Jordan.

This one is Allison laughing so Jordan will laugh (and yes, that is the Broncos game in the background and the girls are wearing their Broncos gear).

This one is Allison being a "good" big sister

And lastly, squash.

We haven't tried squash yet, but Kalena is a big fan of sweet potatoes. Although, sometimes when I look at her bib afterward I wonder how much she actually ate.
