Zoo Time!

In June, we headed to the zoo with some of the moms in our mom's group.  Actually, we only met up with one.  But there were others there that day too.

We saw the new baby elephant!

And the girls were SUPER excited because we got to see the dinosaur exhibit.  These are the dinosaurs that look real (ie - they are HUGE) and move and make noise.  VERY cool.

 The other dinos are sized to be a "teenager" dinosaur size (so not full adult size).  But not T-Rex!  (Allison FREAKED out and didn't even want to walk by him the first time!)

 But then we got to visit the gift shop and the girls were much happier!  (We even went through the exhibit a couple more times).  Here's Jordan with her buddy Andrew.  He's ALL boy.  He got a dinosaur on a stick that chomps.  It kept chomping my shirt.  Jordan is making her dino (a blue t-rex) roar at Andrew's.

It was a GREAT trip.  The only downside - now the girls ask for dinosaurs at every zoo!!  :)
