So really, this picture has nothing to do with the story. I just thought it was cute! The girls were playing dress up and insisted I don't call them Allison and Jordan but Cinderella and Belle. (And yes, they're wearing jammies - hence the bedhead. It's a jammie day today).
Now, onto the crazy bed story.
Little Background Info:
-Hunter has been very stinky lately. He does this every time we get a new bag of dog food. He also has to go out at night for a couple nights when this happens too.
-When Hunter needs to go out, he wakes me up because Brandon ignores him. I then wake Brandon up.
-The girls like to come down to our room when they wake up "in the morning." I say it this way because sometimes "morning" is 3 am. They get sent back upstairs at 3 am.
-We have a baby gate laid across our doorway so the girls can get in/out, the cat can get in/out and the dogs are tricked into being trapped in our room.
Here's the story:
At 3 am, Hunter decides it's time to go out. He wakes me up and I punch Brandon. Brandon walks to the door and says, "Huh, looks like one of the girls knocked over the gate." He then sees a 2 year old, curled up on the dog bed outside our door in the living room. She hasn't woken through any of this, so he takes Hunter outside and comes back. She's still snoozin'. He carries her upstairs, changes her diaper (she still wears one at night) and comes back down. She BARELY woke up during the whole process so we have NO idea how long she was curled up on the dog bed. We're thinking of getting them those night lights that have a sun and a moon and the kid can't get up while the moon is showing. Hopefully this works. Allison has been waking up at 530 every morning lately. Which is okay but then she's CRABBY by lunchtime/naptime.
We'll keep you posted.

It's funny that the dogs didn't go sleep with her in the dog bed too. :)
