Allison's class has a thing called "Top Banana." That means they are Student of the Week. They get an "All About Me" bag to bring in some of their favorite things and they get to make a poster that hangs in the hallway outside the classroom for the WHOLE week. Pretty much ever since we started Jazzercise, Allison has wanted to be Top Banana. (The Jazzercise babysitting room is next door to her classroom - the one that does Top Bananas and has for at least the past 2 years!)
It was FINALLY Allison's turn! She was so excited to pick the things she put in her bag. And she helped me pick some of her favorite things/photos to make her poster. She picked the posterboard and the color for her name/words. I put it all together for her.
Her teachers said she LOVED it. They think her favorite picture by far was the swimming one because that's the one she kept talking about. She was also excted because Monkey got to go to school with her the day she showed her "All About Me" stuff.
On a side note, when Brandon came to San Antonio for Thankgiving, we picked him up at the airport. (The girls and I had been there all week). He had my engagement ring in a Tiffany's bag because he picked it up from geting repaired for me. As he haned it to me, Allison asked, "Mommy, is that an All About You bag?" Yes, pumpkin, yes it is. :)
