One Year Check-up

Jordan's 1 year checkup was today. She is doing really well. The doctor is very happy that it doesn't look like we're going to have the same problems with gross motor skills that we had with Allison (she says this as Jordan was pulling up and cruising on EVERYTHING when she walked in the door). Jordan is right where she should be on everything, teeth, talking, motor skills, etc. Jordan was NOT a fan of the shots. She SCREAMED this time. :( Now to the fun part! Her "stats!" (Allison was 30 lbs, 32 in at her 1 year).

Jordan 1 Year:
Weight: 25 lbs, 10 oz (99%ile)
Height: 30.5 in (95%ile)
Head Circumference: 45 cm (50 cm)

She's still off the charts on weight but not as much as Allison and she seems to have slowed down a bit. Same with height. Her head circumference is EXACTLY on the 50%ile line (so was Allison's).

I'm VERY happy that the doctor said she looks very healthy. She also gave us some "summer" recommendations (bug spray, sunscreen, swimmer's ear prevention, etc.). That was nice. And best of all, she said it looks like Allison is thinning out. She said we'll know for sure at her 3 year checkup in August but just looking at her, she's not worried. Whoohoo!
