Children's Museum with Jordan

Jordan and I have been enjoying Allison being in school twice a week. The first week, we had our first Little Gym class together on Wednesday and then we went to the Children's Museum with Playgroup on Friday.

It was really nice not to have to chase two kids around the museum. It was also nice to see Jordan explore anything she wanted. I had 8 moms (or grandmas) come up and tell me how cute she was, how cute her hair was and how adorable her fearlessness was. Seriously, 8 people. The kid is a people magnet!

I mean, how do you resist this??? (All of the play car they had were awesome. They all had 2 drivers' seats!)
Most of these pictures are in the Tot Spot - an area specifically for kids 3 and under. Jordan was in HEAVEN. She really liked this display. It's 5 windows with animal families in them. The one she's playing with had doors you open and it's a little birthday party. The one to the left had a knob that looked like a toilet and when you "flush it" the lights come on in the box and there's a little animal on a potty and it makes a flushing sound. The others were a light switch that controls the lights and the bunny goes to sleep and a curtain like thing that you push up and down and it's the animal family at breakfast.

There were two doors that opened and shut, had doorbells, locks, lights, etc. They opened to a mirror and were setup very cool so that the kids couldn't smash their fingers.
I think this was her favorite part. She kept spinning these around and would tell me the ones she knows. She'd even do signs for a few of them (although she kept calling the tomato and apple!)
There's even a little playground.
She LOVES to "pet" the kitty.
The big display on the lower level is Kidtropolis. It's a Kid City. Kids can get an ATM card loaded with KidDollars. They then can work at different places and earn money (the bank, city hall, police station, vet clinic, grocery store, art studio) or go to places and spend money (restaurant, etc). It was VERY cool. Jordan liked the art studio and the vet clinic (but when we came back to the vet after Tot Spot, it was PACKED).
She also got in the backseat of the Kidtropolis police car!
