Wow! I am artistic!

Okay, so I signed up to take a Wilton Cake Decorating Class at our Michael's store. I figure, it's $18 and if I can save money by making the kids' birthday cakes, then it was worth it. I was VERY apprehensive since I'm not artistic at all. Tonight was our first try at decorating. We had to bake a cake (shaped in a shape of our choosing), make icing, tint icing, and then we learned how to do the decorating. Here is my first ever decorated cake:




I am SO freakin' proud of myself! I had NO idea I had this talent in me! Yay me!!! I can't wait to make Allison's birthday cake!!!!
