Schrenk's Visit - Part 3 - Old MacDonald's Farm

Brandon took off one day while they were here and we headed up to Humble to go to Old MacDonald's Farm.  It was REALLY fun!!  As soon as we got there, the girls started singing.  We were a little worried because there were a couple HUGE school groups, but the school/daycare kids were REALLY polite.  They took turns well and made sure that our girls got turns on everything too.

We rode the train first.  This was good because it helped us get the layout of everything.

Jordan went to the playground (one of many) with Grandpa next while Allison headed straight for the sandpile.

We were all impressed with Allison's climbing skills to get to the top.

After falling a few times, Jordan developed her own method of getting down the hill.
There were deer to pet and feed.
 And rabbits.
And chickens.  (But the chickens ran away and wouldn't let you pet them).
And cows and ponies and horses and pigs and goats and sheep and llamas.

 And more playgrounds.

The girls REALLY wanted to ride the ponies but I think ALL of the school groups were in line.  As Kevin said, 'You'll be in line for a week!' so we opted to ride the train again.

Then it was time to head to the Pumpkin Patch.  Every kid got a free pumpkin!
I think the pumpkin guy felt bad for me because out of ALL of those, my girls picked probably the smallest ones.  So he gave me a decent size one on our way out.

We headed to McDonald's on the way home.  The girls had a BLAST with Grandma and Grandpa!  (And Nathan and Malinda for a night too!!)  Thanks for visiting!!
