Taste of the Town

There was a fun thing a couple of weeks ago at our outdoor mall called Taste of the Town. It was sponsored by the Rotary Club and the proceeds went to charity. They had a bunch of the restaurants that are out there set up in booths and giving out samples - BJ's, Mimi's, Red Robin, Pacigiuo Gelato, Cinnabon, Great American Cookie Company, Fish City Grill, Red Lobster, etc. Plus, they had fashion shows from a bunch of the clothing stores and live music. Outside the food area, a lot of local people (real estate agents, doctors, etc) had booths set up. It was SO much fun. The girls had a blast (and why not? All they did was eat junk food!). I discovered that both my girls will eat Pei Wei lettuce wraps. Allison will eat the whole thing if I help her keep it wrapped and Jordan just likes the filling! We can't WAIT for this event to happen again. We were expecting to just eat and come home and we were there for 3 hours!!


Afterwards, they wanted to play in the water there. Of course, Ditzy Mommy had forgotten their swim stuff. So they swam in regular clothes and regular diapers (ever see what happens to a regular diaper when you submerge it in water?)

This is what Jordan does when she doesn't want to scuff up her knees. Smart kid. She's FAST like this too. It cracks all the other moms up at playdates, etc because she screams while she does it (happy screams).

That's how deep the water is over there - up past Jordan's knees. But my littlest had NO fear. She's going to be my first ER trip, I just know it.
