Zoo

We had a fun trip to the zoo and discovered quite a few new things!

Sorry this picture is blurry....it was inside a dark exhibit. But it was too cute to not share!
Here's one of our discoveries (we'd never been in this building). There's a tunnel that makes it look like your kid is swimming with piranhas. Very cool. People were walking by, cracking up at how much fun Allison was having.

Another discovery. There is an underground viewing area for the lions. We'd never gone down there because it was always just me with both girls and the stroller. Well, since Daddy was with us, we decided to do it. Lucky for us, the viewing window is VERY close to where the lions like to nap in the shade!!
How AWESOME is that? The male lion had his rear end towards us, so we couldn't get a good look at him. But the female is HUGE so I can't even imagine how big he really is.
And of course, we rode the carousel. Jordan likes to dance with the pole when they turn the music on. Sigh. I hope it's not a sign of things to come. ;)
After lunch, the next stop was the children's playground.

Even Jordan got in on the action!
And of course, we had to see Allison's buddies, the goats.
We saw this guy on our way out, near the gift shop. Allison actually touched it. She did good!
We can't wait to go again this weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Schrenk. Maybe we'll finally get to ride the train or watch the sea lions!
